Our Adventure

It was such a fun idea to connect with the story The Small Adventure of Popeye and Elvis by making yoo-hoo boats!  Recreating what happened in the book helped me understand the feelings of letting go of a yoo-hoo boat like Scarletta and receiving a yoo-hoo boat like Popeye and Elvis.  It was so exciting to read the riddle someone else wrote about themselves and think about who it sounded like!

Time to Write and Reflect...
Below pictures of us reflecting and writing about our experience of reading the book and making and releasing Yoo hoo boats.
